Based in the NYC metro, I’m a savvy wordsmith and meticulous editor and effective writing coach with 25+ years experience.
My academic creds include a BA in journalism, an MA in creative writing and an ABD in literature and theology with a fellowship year in medieval studies. I’ve been a certified master writing coach since 2009.
My writing and editing chops include teaching and tutoring college/university writing and directing a college writing center. I’m also a published poet. I began freelance editing in 1996, with a stint as an editor for D.C. think tank, and have edited a wide range of content, including essays, peer-reviewed articles, dissertations and books.
